Andy received his bachelor’s degree from M.I.T. and his doctorate from Columbia University, both in electrical engineering. He has held R&D positions at IBM Research, AT&T Bell Laboratories, and Argonne National Laboratory. He also has held technology leadership positions at the Voyager Company, John Wiley & Sons, and startup Double Agent. He founded Electrical Science in 2002 and has specialized in firmware, electronic hardware, and voice recording technologies. He has published articles in several scientific journals, holds three patents, and has cowritten a college textbook on MATLAB.
Ed received his bachelor’s degree in business administration from The Ohio State University in Columbus. He has held key business development positions in the technology services and software fields for more than 20 years. Most recently he has held senior sales executive positions with FTI Technologies, National Data Conversion and Trusted Data Solutions in the fields of electronic discovery, computer forensics, and audio discovery.

Farrell
Avi received his bachelor’s degree in electrical engineering from Columbia University and his MBA from Duke University, where he was a Fuqua Scholar. He has held engineering, project and product management roles at First Boston, Morgan Stanley, and Deutsche Bank, as well as at several startups. Over the past decade, he has assisted many companies, ranging from tiny startups through Fortune 500 global firms, to restructure technology operations, re-architect mission-critical applications, and design and deploy transformative technology products and services.
Patrick has a B.S. and M.S. in electrical engineering from Virginia Tech, has worked in software for over 12 years, and has worked on advanced communication systems for 8 years. He has extensive experience working directly with customers and is able to translate business requirements into technology solutions. His specialities include Python, bash and JavaScript development, Linux kernel drivers, and debugging complex software issues. He is originally from Virginia but is now based in New York City.
